What is the role of information technologies (i.e, the internet, the mobile phones etc.) in our lives? What do you think the use of information technologies add to and /or take away from the way you live and the way the way Turkish people live in general?

Technology is devoloping day by day,also thanks to it our living conditions are improving.For example ,in the past people spend much more time to wash dishes and cloths,to clean the house but now,there are washing machines,dish washer,vacuum cleaner.They save our time. In addition, computer and mobile phone are very useful and practical.On the other hand, if we dont use them properly, it can take away from the way we live.At first tv,there are a lot of nonsense movies,tv programs.I cant understand how people spend their time watching them.Also some of the things on the tv damage our language and culture.In the course of time, people get use some silly words.Secondly computer is very useful device if you use it to search some informations.But especialy children use it to play game.These games make them lazy.Thirdly,mobile phone is very practical,you can communicate with your parents friends whereever you are but because of them in times we forget face to face communication.So whether technology is useful or harmful depends on how we use it.
Our world is changing every moment and due to this,technology is improving constantly.Now,we don't live our grandparents' world.Everything has altered since their time and alternation will go on forever!In this process,the biggest role or leading part belongs to technology,of course.With the help of it,we can say,lots of thigs which was thought impossible before is possible at the moment.It has an incredible pace,so we have difficulty in keeping up with it.But in this era,we have to achieve this!
You all know,technology is everwhere!At work,at home,in school etc.As a result of this,we are addicted to it.We make the most of it as much as possible!For instance,nobody goes to banks.Because they can finish their work in front of computers.Or students use computers for their homework like us:)In this way,they can save time and energy.I think,the most important benefit of technology is this.At the same time,we search every subject via Internet and reach the whole world at the touch of a button!At homes,technological devices are our savers.Especially for working women,they are very precious.Because they use them to wash the dishes or clothes easily and so on.Moreover,we can get on to our friends or families every time by means of mobile phones.Governments derive benefit from technology by using it for their security and war industry.There is no doubt,it has innumerable advantages,But on the other hand,we can't ignore its harm.The most awful disasters of the world were results of technology and its development such as Çernobil,Hiroshima and Nagazaki.The invention of atomic bomb and the establishment of nucleer power stations caused a lot of deaths.Besides this,so many people suffered from these events.And they lead to some permanent damage on Earth!Furthermore,technology makes us lazy and asocial.We depend on it so much that we don't have time to spend our friends or families.We forget to talk to eachother face to face.Therefore,we are losing human being's natural tendencies or behaviours by fretting them.Sometimes we spin out of control because of technology.
All in all,if used effectively,technology is a unique complement for you.At this point,being educated and conscious become important.Otherwise,technology can be very dangerous weapon from time to time.Therefore,we must be careful in order not to die with our own hands!!!
Techonogy is everthing. We cannot live without it comfortably as we do.
Technology is a part of our lives and it has changed our life both in positive and in negative way.It has become usefull in all field of life.To begin with,it has affected our life positively.It has brought a lot of advantages with it.For example,cell-phone provide us to communicate easily.We can make a connection to all world.Also,we don't have to spend much effort to do our works.It's enough to click to the button.Then,we don't have to go library when we need information.We can get informations from the internet.However,technology has disadvantages that affect our life negatively.The biggest disadvantage that technology has brougt is that it made us lazy.We don't want to move anymore.I can't imagine our future.
Nowadays,technology is everything.Techology has come in our lives.This situation provides us soma advantages and disadvantages.I want to tell you the advantages of technology first.We can do a lot of things more easily and quickly thank to technology.We can communicate wth our family,friends even if they are so far from us.We can also get millions of information with only one click on the keyboard.To aware of the news from all around the world is so easy.But there are some disadvantages of technology,too.For example,communicating with phones etc.can remove one from the other.getting lots of information from internet can make us lazy.We can lose our enthusiasm about searching.some people read books on internet.But I think we can't taste from reading with this method.And also the radiation extended from cellphones,computers,televisions etc.isn't good for our health.You all know that radiation is very dangerous.We can have serious illness such as cancer.So it is true that we need tecnology,but we shouldn't forget that we must be careful;)
Like everything technology has pros and cons. for its advantages we can say we do some things with the help of it easily and quickly for example we communicate through mobile phones and internet.So it has an important place in our life and we can't do without it in some specific situations. But it must be used carefully 'cos it may have so bad outcomes for example excessive use of mobile phones can make users ill and this ilnesses are serious ilnesses such as cancer. So we must be watchful while using. In Turkish people lives technology has changed our lifes fairly and it has some effect on us for example people have less talks with each oother and face-to-face 'cos they prefer chatting online or sending text messages to each other and as a consequence people's affairs are damaged. It has taken away something else too for instance we can say our speeches have changed we are speaking in a technological language using some words from other languages especially english. as we can see technology can help us but can take some of our characteristic features and it can make us lazy too so what will we do in the future? we must think...
It's definite that technology has eased our lives so much. It helps us save time which has great importance in every aspect of our lives. Despite all the rush during daytime, we can access all the information we need, we can learn what's going on all around the world etc. just with a click. Though using technological devices often is not something so healhty, I think we cannot make without them anymore, especially once we enjoy the convenience and practicality it gives us!
we must accept that technology is the heart of our lives.we can do nothing without technological devices in our lives.think that you had to go 500 km away but there was no buses or planes,that would be very bad for us or there was no phones in our lives what would we do then?but via technology we can travel quickly,get information and news more easily,do our homeworks on the net:)and many more advantages...
on the other hand like everything,it brings disadvantages to us.its being like our an organ of us is not always agood thing.it can make you asocial(tv),ıt can harm your healt(phones)...
but to sum up,it is one of the best thing that humans have...
Technology is not hundred percent beneficial or hundred percent harmful thing.It affects people in a positive and a negative way but I think it depends on people.By the agency of technology people have chance to get latest information all over the world.At this point I want you to pay attention how Turkish people generally use technology.When we think about teenagers they usually use technology to play games or to chat with his/her friends.But when we look at developed countries they usually work on some graphic or any other kind of programs.Of course we should use technology for fun sometimes but not always.Moreover, there are people who are doing technologic crimes such as stealing people's passwords.I think people should be made conscious of dangers and benefits of information technologies.
technology is AMORAL - neither good nor bad. it's the people who use them which can be good or bad, not technology, like a knife for example, it is double-edged and can be used by a person to commit a crime (bad), or to slice bread (good, try spreading jam on unsliced bread ), but the knife by itself is neither good nor bad.
as for technological advancement, there's nothing wrong with it, and i'm not controlled by a machine yet. there will be repercussions of technological advancement, but those repercussions will depend solely in the hands of the people who wield them.
fire is technology, and without fire, would you eat raw meat? we've gone a long way since fire was discovered (i will microwave the meat nowadays to cook it ), and we can manage a few leaps in technology some more.
